So I did it I finally made it to day 30! Sorry for the mass upload of the last 10 days, every time I uploaded my photos I ran out of time to blog them. I've definitely enjoyed the experience and will miss seeing how my outfit looks everyday on screen, it's true what they say the camera never lies. I've decided to print out my favourite outfits and stick them to the inside of my wardrobe to remind me what looks good. And I'll definitely be adding some more tops to my wardrobe plus some colour. I'll also try to think my purchases through a bit more whilst thinking about how they'll fit into my wardrobe.

So 20 down and 10 to go and I'm learning a lot; accessories are key to any outfit, things look really different on camera than they do in the mirror*, as much as I love trousers I really do look better in skirts and dresses (although I'm also liking the shorts & tights combo)-something my hubby has been telling me for years! I'm sure I'll learn a few more before this thing is done.

*Makes me think of Clueless (which was mine and my sisters favourite film when we were younger) Cher never used mirrors and always took photos of her outfits to decide what to wear. Maybe I need to watch that film again and see what other useful tips she had, I loved her wardrobe organiser!

Four outfits for the price of one, bad 30 for 30 blogger! My hubby has been using our laptop a lot for work so apologies if you've been waiting with baited breath and if not why not?! So I think day 16 will also become one of my favourite outfits and I got a compliment on day 15 so maybe I'm getting better at this? I've also realised I'm over half way through already and I haven't yet missed the other things in my wardrobe yet, sssshhhh don't tell the hubby!

So here I am back on track, yesterday I wore long socks for the first time in a long time, I quite liked rocking the Brittany look. I got a couple of compliments on today's outfit, I think it will probably end up being one of my favourites of the challenge.

So another combined post for which I have no excuse this week! You may notice day 9a is missing due to a blip, we've had really funny weather this week ranging from 26c on Monday to 12c on Wednesday. It also rained pretty much all day Tuesday which meant I unintentionally stayed in my gym gear all day waiting to take my daily walk/push the pram up the hill. Hence day 9b and I'll add an extra on at the end!

So I'm trying out one of my new belts today, I've really liked the high waisted look for a while but wasn't sure it was me-I think it works let me know what you think! I must also say how much I love this skirt I've had it for about 7 years (wow is it really that long?!) and I still like it as much as when I bought it.

Day 4, 5 & 6/30

So this is a combined post so hold tight, day 4 I had technical difficulties with the camera and laptop and my hubby was out. Day 5 my little boy was sick, so here I am day 6 with three days worth of pictures. I'm really enjoying this challenge, it really makes me think in the morning about how I should look and more so because I know I have to post a picture on here!! Today I went accessory shopping (as I desperately needed some more) with my good friend Mrs P, she always accessorises well so I just had to take her along! So here's my booty; two new belts which has doubled my whole collection. Two scarfs one of which I was eyeing up in the week, a new long necklace (long ones are my favs) a bangle, two pairs of long socks and another pair of tights. Did you see the purple tights made an appearance today, those are the ones I said you'd notice when they arrived but I'm not sure they look quite as bright on here as they do in real life!
